1. Course introduction

Campus

In this module students will familiarize themselves with the syllabus and course calendar

2. Week 1: Lean Canvas Model

Jan 10, Campus

In this module students will create the lean canvas module for their top 3 business ideas, will identify key metrics, will select their top business choice, and will start working the product roadmap.

3. Week 2: Product Roadmap

Campus

In this module, students will learn about the product roadmap & market analysis. Students will research their competition and identify their weaknesses.

4. Week 3: Market Personas and Virtual Prototypes

In this module students will learn how to create market personas to understand their target audience better and develop virtual prototypes to represent their product or service visually. Also, as part of this lesson the students will test and validate their prototypes by reaching out to potential customers.

5. Week 4: Business Model Canvas, Accounting Principles and Funding Strategies

In this week, students will explore the Business Canvas Model to structure their business, refining key components such as value propositions, customer segments, and resources. They will also learn Accounting Principles to understand essential financial concepts and proper documentation for their business. Lastly, students will dive into Funding Strategies, examining different ways to raise capital and secure financial support for business growth.

6. Week 5: MVPs

In this module, students will learn the concept of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and understand its importance in validating a business idea with minimal investment. They will develop their own MVP, focusing on delivering core value with essential features only, and test it with real potential customers. This hands-on experience will equip them with practical skills to gather feedback, make data-driven decisions, and refine their product for market fit.

7. Week 6: Validating your MVP and MSP

In this module, you'll focus on testing and validating your Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Minimum Sellable Product (MSP) by gathering real feedback from your target audience. You'll refine your prototypes, run risk assumption tests, and use data-driven insights to iterate and improve your offering, ensuring it meets market needs effectively.

8. Week 7: MVP to MSP

In this lesson, students will improve their MVP based on the feedback they received from their customers to turn it into an MSP. Also, students will learn how to create Financial and Income statements.

9. Week 8: Selling your MSP & Marketing

This week students will learn about strategies to effectively market and sell your Minimum Sellable Product, focusing on understanding customer needs, highlighting unique value, and creating targeted campaigns to drive initial sales and validate your business idea.

10. Week 9: Advertising & Business Plan

In this module students will explore the fundamentals of creating impactful advertising strategies and will start working on their final business plan.

11. Week 10: Business Plan

In this section students will focus more on writing their business plan.

12. Week 11: Business Presentation

In this module students will prepare their final business presentation.

13. Week 12: Final Presentations & Reflection

In this module, students will prepare to deliver their final presentations, will analyze the role of the CEO in a company and will reflect on their experience at Cumorah Academy.

14. Intern Resources

In this module, the intern will receive additional instructions on a few aspects of the program.
